I am a retired academic, having spent half of my career as an English professor and the other half as a dean and fellowship advisor.
Currently I farm a couple of acres, write, and help to run a volunteer cooperative that provides internet service to this particular Vermont cranny.
I received a Ph.D. in comparative literature in 1970 from Harvard.
